Sequence the heavy work first
Pool demolition, spoil removal and fill delivery can require the widest access and heaviest machinery. Complete this before new fences, decks or delicate landscaping restrict the route.
Share plans between trades
The builder, engineer, certifier, pool removal contractor and landscaper should work from compatible levels and site information. A mismatch can create rework.
Protect the existing house
Demolition vibration, dust, machinery and truck movements should be assessed around footings, windows, services and finished surfaces.
Define the handover level
The pool contractor might leave compacted subgrade, while the builder or landscaper supplies the final base. Put the exact level and material responsibility in writing.
